I met Mark at the Crazy Horse
and have known him for the best part of 12 years. I had recently became
single and was starting to get out and socialize. It wasn't an easy thing
for me to do. Mark and I started talking and in short time it was as we
knew each other forever.
Through out the years Mark and I spent more hours on the phone than most
men would admit. We talked about everything you can imagine and as you
can notice, solved most of the worlds problems. We did so many things
and spent so much time together I came to love Mark as my family and I
know he felt the same about me.
When Celeste and I married a year and a half ago it changed the time I had to spend with Mark but the bond had grown and he was very happy for us. To no surprise Celeste and her family grew to love Mark just as everyone did. When I tell my friends and family about Mark I say "he was the big guy that cried at my wedding".
It is clear to all the love he had for Macain and Melissa and how proud of them he was. It is also clear to see how they loved him. Marks smile is bright in their faces.
I have a heavy heart that time will lighten but how lucky I was to have known Mark. He will live with me always.
What an example he was as he constantly tried to tell us.
